(BROWN) EDWARDS and her husband Leon long to share a
special ORU moment! In 1984, Babette was working
for the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association, and had
the opportunity to attend the television taping of the
ministry's Christmas Special. While going through
the motions of the song service with her mind busy on the
"static" in her life, Babette suddenly became
"tuned in" to what really mattered: God
so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten
Son! This unveiling of Jesus brought Babette a new,
fresh realization of herself as a recipient of the
greatest Gift, of the greatest significance, from the
greatest Source; a gift not just for Christmas, but for
always! WINSTON FROST has been appointed academic dean of Simon Greenleaf School of Law.
